We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our overnight guests while also taking ownership of the hotel's nightly financial audit. You will balance guest service with important accounting and operational responsibilities, ensuring the hotel is ready for a successful start to the next day.
The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working independently, enjoys interacting with guests, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in getting things right. What You'll Do- Welcome guests and provide warm, professional service throughout the overnight hours.
- Serve as the primary Front Desk contact for guests arriving, departing, or needing assistance overnight.
- Complete guest check-ins and check-outs, assign rooms, issue keys, and assist with billing and payment questions.
- Review overnight arrivals and guest requests, doing everything possible to accommodate preferences and ensure a comfortable stay.
- Answer phones, assist with reservations, provide information about the hotel, dining, events, and surrounding area, and maintain professional telephone etiquette.
- Coordinate with Security, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to address guest needs and resolve overnight issues.
- Review the Group Resume and verify that routing, comments, room assignments, and other details are accurate.
- Complete the nightly audit of hotel and outlet revenue in accordance with established procedures.
- Review housekeeping and occupancy reports and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate hotel records.
- Balance daily revenue and settlement accounts and prepare the hotel's nightly financial records.
- Generate and distribute required night audit reports.
- Assemble the nightly audit packet, providing an accurate summary of the day's transactions and revenue.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Front Desk throughout the shift.
- Follow all hotel safety, security, and operating procedures.
- Communicate important overnight issues or follow-up items to the Front Office team for the next shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager.

- Dependable, responsible, and able to maintain focus throughout an overnight shift.
- Previous hotel, Front Desk, Night Audit, or customer service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
- Must be available to work the overnight shift, including weekends and holidays. Night shift hours are fixed at 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.
- The position requires mobility. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, kneel, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects.
- Must be able to bend, squat and lift up to 50 pounds, as well as be able to push and pull carts and luggage weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
